ANNUAL DUES INFORMATION Annual dues billings
begin with the administrative year beginning October 1, 2006.
As a result, the annual dues billing schedule for the 2006-07
year coincides with the following dates:
As an example, if a
club’s anniversary date is May 19, based upon a May anniversary date
and the table above, the club would be in Group 3.
As a result, Kiwanis would mail the club’s membership roster to
the club around February 1, 2007 … then the club would return the
corrected membership roster to Kiwanis within 30 days upon receipt based
upon the membership verified by the club… then Kiwanis would update
our membership database with your roster information and send you a dues
invoice that is due within 30 days, but no later than May 31, 2007. Thus, the Kiwanis
Club would not have to make its 2006-07 annual dues payment until April
or May 2007 … a date that is after the due dates of the current
semi-annual billing (which currently is October 10 and April 10).
The club will be able to collect dues from its members as normal,
maintaining the funds in the club treasury until payment is due.
